4th edition International Argane Congress

Since the first edition of the International Argane Congress, organized in 2011, focused on strengthening teamwork, the investigation of new research questions, the involvement of stakeholders and the sharing of knowledge, a dynamic has been initiated around the Argane sector. The 4th edition scheduled for November 20 to 22, 2017, undoubtedly constitutes a step to consolidate the achievements and address current issues relating to integrated rural development as an option for sustainable management of the “Arganeraie”. Also and under the impetus given by the Green Morocco Plan, by professional organizations and by the research community, a new perception of the argan tree which affirms its multiple roles is added to previous achievements.
