Young Researcher Award
In order to promote excellence in research among young researchers, whether they are doctoral students or engaged in master’s theses, the International Argane Congress is organizing the 6th edition of the “young researcher prize” competition, on the sidelines of its 7th edition scheduled for May 2022 in Essaouira. This competition aims to reward the best research work on the argan tree and the argan grove.
As in previous editions, this initiative aims to stimulate and encourage young researchers to promote their research results, with the aim of benefiting professionals in the sector as well as the ecosystem as a whole, and thus contributing to its preservation.
Competition objectives:
1- Encourage scientific research on the argan tree and the argan grove.
2- Develop excellence among young researchers.
3- Stimulate innovation in the fields of research.
4- Ensure the sharing of scientific knowledge on the Argan tree.

Categories:
Two categories of research work are planned in this competition, those carried out within the framework of:
- Master’s degree or engineering dissertation;
- Doctoral thesis.
Several prizes and distinctions will be awarded to the best research work, all disciplines combined, published in the 2 categories within the framework of national educational institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for competitive research work are as follows:
1- Originality;
2- The quality of processing and writing;
3- The work must already be presented before a Jury between June 1, 2022 and April 15, 2024;
4- Treat a theme related to the argan tree and/or argan grove;
5- Present a technical, scientific, institutional, organizational innovation, etc.;
6- Number of scientific publications of the work in peer-reviewed journals.
